My name is Tod Szewczyk, I'm a Digital Strategy and Digital Transformation leader who helps purpose-driven brands create seamless consumer experiences. I recently started a new chapter in my career joining the digital experience agency Verndale as the Vice President of Marketing Services. Prior to Verndale, I’ve held roles at Perficient, August Jackson, and Leo Burnett across digital engagement, digital strategy, emerging technology, innovation and operations from 2002-2022. Prior to Leo Burnett, I worked at RR Donnelly from 1998-2002 in finance and book publishing in Denver, Chicago, Paris and London.

I create and deliver digital strategies for Fortune 500s, build immersive digital experiences, and lead teams that help brands achieve their marketing objectives– I am passionate about helping companies harness emerging technology to grow revenues, impact the consumer experience and maintain a competitive edge.

My nontraditional path to customer experience, marketing and thought leadership has always been grounded in my fascination with innovation.

I have a BA from Columbia College Chicago and studied TV Production, Fiction Writing and Music Theory. My early career began as a sound artist, and I established Chicago’s first experimental sound and music festival, “In the Eye of the Ear” with Steve Barsotti, while my work was played around the globe.
